Ceramics, Pottery, and Mosaics in Southern Vienna
Every Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., we open our studio at the Kunsthof Scott-Moser in Brunn am Gebirge near Mödling for creative projects with clay, paperclay, and mosaics. Various techniques are offered simultaneously—you decide what you’d like to work with, and we’ll provide personalized guidance. No prior experience necessary · German & English.

Ceramic Design using various printing, coloring, and texturing techniques
Use pre-prepared paperclay slabs to create your own ceramic pieces, such as bowls or wall art.
By freely experimenting with techniques and materials—such as engobes, stamps, or plants—you’ll develop exciting patterns and your own artistic style. We’ll then dry and fire your pieces in our studio.
Mosaic
Create your own mosaic using our handmade ceramic mosaic tiles and learn the basic techniques of cutting and assembling.
Paperclay & handbuilding
Work freely and experimentally with slabs, surfaces, textures, and prints, or shape vessels directly by hand—ideal for anyone wanting to discover ceramics in an unconventional way.
Pottery wheel
Center and throw clay with personal guidance. As this requires more individual attention, space is limited. For beginners and advanced students alike: please let us know which technique you are interested in when you sign up so we can prepare your station.
